The very latest technology for greatest ergonomic comfort

The PLATO floor luminaire is perfect for use with two-person workplaces with height-adjustable tables. The light is controlled autonomously for the users and offers both of them their own lighting – according to their current desk height. Light is regulated without any flickering throughout the full dimming range from 100% to 0.5%, without the individual dimming steps being perceptible.

SENSONIC - intelligent light control

The PLATO floor luminaire is equipped with the SENSONIC presence- and daylight-based control, which automatically ensures optimum light conditions in the room. This means that the required light strength is constantly adjusted to the available daylight. The motion sensor detects even the slightest movements in the detection zone, thereby ensuring light control that is optimised to the user’s needs.

EDR - asynchronous light regulation for maximum efficiency and ease of use

In order to achieve homogeneous table lighting, EDR initially reduces just the proportion of indirect light as the level of daylight increases, and only later regulates the proportion of direct light as well. This asynchronous light regulation simultaneously enhances the ambience in the room and achieves significantly greater efficiency than light control with synchronous regulation.
